Boże Narodzenie to czas, gdy chętnie wykonujemy własnoręczne ozdoby, będące dekoracją w naszym domu lub wyjątkowym prezentem dla bliskich. Castorama, która od lat wspiera rozwój umiejętności manualnych i pasji do majsterkowania, przygotowała dwa konkursy skierowane do najmłodszych – dla dzieci klientów oraz dzieci pracowników.
Castorama ogłaszając konkurs “Zielone święta” zaprosiła klientów do publikacji zdjęć lub filmików z rodzinnego przygotowywania świątecznych ozdób w duchu zero waste. Udostępniono wiele wspaniałych prac pokazujących, jak dbając o środowisko można stworzyć niepowtarzalne dekoracje, dając przedmiotom i materiałom drugie życie.
Wyniki konkursu zostały opublikowane na Facebook’u Castorama Polska (https://www.facebook.com/CastoramaPolska). Na autorów dziesięciu zwycięskich prac czekają żywe choinki do odbioru w sklepach sieci.
Castorama zaprosiła również dzieci pracowników do konkursu wewnętrznego „Podziel się radością”, który polegał na przygotowaniu świątecznych kartek. Ręcznie robione kartki wraz z życzeniami od Fundacji Castorama trafią do lokalnych organizacji społecznych, działających w obszarze mieszkalnictwa.
